Georgia Marcantonis is a Greek-American, chef, baker, author and devoted mother of three. When her son, Naki, developed food allergies, Georgia started closely working with cuisine that catered to his special diet. Desserts were a particularly difficult challenge because Naki was allergic to dairy and eggs. After a lot of experimenting, she mastered the double chocolate cupcake. It was Naki’s preschool teachers who informed her that the kids enjoy her sweets more than regular ones, and that she should start selling them. She started a special online allergy bakery called The Cupcake Market so other parents with allergy kids could bring special birthday treats to school so their child could participate in the festivities. Coupled with her Greek heritage and her genuine love of cooking, she mastered daily allergen free recipes and is ready to share them with you!
