Greek Chickpeas (Revithia) Lemonato
1 can of chickpeas (14 oz)
1/2 lemon (juice)
1/4 cup fresh dill (finely chopped)
1/3 cup diced onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra virgin olive oil for sauté
Dice the onions and sauté them in the olive oil till tender.
Open the can of chickpeas and add them to the onions. Do not strain the peas.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the lemon juice and the fresh dill.
Season with salt and pepper. Add more lemon if desired.
